Auckland United is seeking applicants for the position of Women’s Football Development Officer for the new joint venture between Onehunga Sports and Three Kings United making Auckland United

This part- time position will play a vital role in developing players and coaches in the girls/women’s Junior Youth and Senior with the new club

The successful applicant will manage and deliver skills coaching, overseeing the running of the Girls academy (ages from 9- 16) This will include session plans for the other coaches to deliver and individual players plans to help players and coaches achieve at the highest level

Responsibilities include initiatives in development of skills in junior programmes, to talent identification and academy development of the best youth players within Auckland United.

A key role is supporting Girls /Women’s Coaches to provide higher quality services to their teams.

The successful applicant will have full oversight of all Girls/Women’s AUFC programmes for 9th to 17th grade, with the challenge of making improvements in all areas of player, coach and game development.

Training and support of volunteers is part of the role as is working closely with the DOF and exec members within Auckland United

Applicants should have at least three years’ experience in player and coach development and be able to demonstrate skills in working with all Staff DOF TDP and exec members. Communication and team skills are important and its clear the successfully applicant can work within our community.

A recognised NZ Football coaching qualification is required (C License or working towards is the minimum) and recent Coach Educator qualification preferred.
