Youth Section
Season Information
Youth competitions will commence Saturday 17th April and run through until the end of August. There is no game on the middle weekend of the July School Holidays. Players selected for Metropolitan, Premier and Division 1 teams must be available for all games including during the holidays. 10th and 11th grade players may choose to play in our internal competition based at Keith Hay Park.
Gear
Players are required to wear the following uniform.
-
Club Socks $15-00 – purchase from Club
-
Club Shorts $35-00 – purchase from Club
-
Boots and Shin pads (self supply)
-
Club Shirt (supplied by the club)
Purchase must be made before the first day of play either at registration day or on three further dates to be published on the Three Kings website during February. (A separate payment by cheque, cash or EFTPOS is required.)
Players are expected to bring their own named ball to practice.
On registration day soccer boots, shin pads, balls etc will be on sale in the Champ Sports Tent on the grounds. Payment for these purchases is made direct to Champs Sports.
Trials
The club reserves the right to move players between Development, Premier and Metropolitan grades throughout the season. We field teams in most divisions and have teams suitable for all players but they must be available to attend a trial if they wish to be considered for selection in the Metropolitan, Premier and Division 1 teams. They will be phoned and told what day they need to attend.
Parent Help
We are keen to hear from supporters who can help to coach, manage or referee a team this year. Training for Coaches will be provided through our Director of Football.
