Tim Cooper - Life Membership 2010
Congratulations to Tim Cooper who received a Life Membership at the 2010 AGM.
.
Tim first become involved with the Eden Club around 1989 when his son Jeremy first took up football in the midget grades of the club.
This interest followed through to the junior/youth grades and of course on to the amalgamation in 1997 when Three Kings United was formed.
With Jeremy’s progress on to the senior ranks at TKU, so Tim’s involvement in club activities expanded and he was elected to the Executive Committee in 2001, becoming Vice Chairman in 2004; Chairman in 2005 and then President following the changes in our Constitution.
Tim has held this position to date and during that time has worked tirelessly on improvements and other initiatives for the betterment of our club.
Redevelopment proposals have been dear to Tim’s heart, and he has pushed through progress with the various working groups involved with this project to the stage that we are now preparing planning proposals with the aid of consultants to ensure the necessary approvals are in place as quickly as these processes allow.
Tim has also worked very hard with neighbouring businesses to obtain ground signage and other sponsorship arrangements with local businesses – a big help with revenue earning for a large club such as ours.
