Fixtures/Results
Fixtures are available from this
link and fromSoccer2's web site www.soccer2.org.nz
Results need to be phoned or faxed to the Grade Co-ordinator
by 4.00pm each Saturday. These results are then faxed
through to the Federation the Club is fined if
they are late. League results are normally available
after each game on about the Tuesday after the game.
Transfers/Cancellations
If your game is transferred to another venue you will
be notified by your Grade Co-ordinator Friday afternoon
or evening.
Cancellations
We are usually advised of cancellations on Friday afternoons
in which case the Grade Co-ordinators will notify you.
Please ring your teams. If grounds are closed on Saturday
morning due to adverse weather conditions listen to
the cancellation service on Newstalk ZB (Just after
the news broadcasts ). If in doubt ring your Grade
Co-ordinator.Cancellation of practice grounds are
also available daily on Newstalk ZB or by ringing the
Auckland City Hotline 379 2020.

Gear
Playing shirts must be kept and washed together
parents should take turns with the washing on a rotational
basis.PLEASE DO NOT ISSUE THE SHIRTS TO THE PLAYERS
TO KEEP FOR THE SEASON. Each team has been issued with
1 new match ball and 1 new & up to 2 used practice
balls. Please ensure that these are TEAM named and kept
by one person. Do not send them home with the shirts
there will be no more issued. Any coach that
requires a larger shirt size for a team player can contact
the Youth Gear Steward Colleen King ph 620-9168.
Bibs and cones have been issued for practice sessions.
Change strip
If you have an away game with either Papakura or another
T.K.U. team please contact your Grade Co-ordinator and
arrange to pick up a change strip. The strip must be
returned "clean" by the following Wednesday.

Nets/Corner posts
Keith Hay Park
Stored in shed at side of clubrooms each set
is in a wheelie bin. Leave bin beside field so last
team can remove nets and return bin to shed. Teams on
field 5 & 6 take fishing net to retrieve balls from
the creek.
Pollard Park
Shed will be unlocked prior to the first game. The door
to the gear is around the back. T.K.U. are responsible
for the removal of all the nets after the last scheduled
game. The nets and corner posts must be placed back
in the storage area.
Seymour Park
The pavillion will be unlocked prior to the first game.
Last team of the day must take the nets and corner posts
down and place them away in the shed. The side door
will be locked at the end of the day.
Waiheke Games
Any teams travelling to Waiheke need to ring the Waiheke
Delegate (phone # in the year book ) advise the number
of players / adults going so they can organise tickets
for the Quickcat and transport from the wharf.Tickets
are collected from the ticket office. The club covers
the cost of the Coach , Manager and Players. Any extra
travelling must pay for themselves.A cheque for the
team made payable to Waiheke Soccer must be collected
from Keith Jellard Ph 625-4932. Any extra people wishing
to travel and receive the reduced fare must also book
with the team and pay direct to Waiheke Soccer.
Balls
Players to bring their own marked ball to practices.Size
4 ball 10th-13th GradeSize 5 ball 14th Grade upwards.
Easter / School holidays
Easter No PlaySchool Holidays Games will
be played during all school holidays with the exception
of the middle week of the second term if the weather
prevails.
Players time on field
Wherever possible Youth players should be given equal
playing time on the field. This is not compulsory for
Prem /Division 1 or 2 teams where the Coach may decide
to play his strongest team. However , the chosen method
should be CLEARLY COMMUNICATED to the players &
parents before competition commences.
Duration of Games
- 10th Grade 25 mins each way plus
half time break
- 11th Grade 25 mins each way plus
half time break
- 12th /13th / 14th / Grade 27
mins each way plus 5 mins half time15th Grade 35 mins
each way plus 5 mins half time
- Youth League 40 mins each way
plus 5 mins half time
Please remember that in the event
of a late start , the time available must be divided
into two equal halves with allowance for half time break
so that the following game shall commence at the allocated
time.Teams start on the hour and must leave on the hour
in the 11th to 14th grades.
