11TH TO 17TH GRADES INCLUSIVE

1 Duration of matches

11th grades 25 minutes each way plus half time

12th-13th-14th grades 27½ minutes each way plus 5 minutes half time

15th grade 35 minutes each way plus 5 minutes half time

16th & 17th grades 40 minutes each way plus 5 minutes half time

Note: in the event of a late start, the time available must be divided into equal halves with allowance for half time, so that the next (following game) shall commence at the fixtured time. There is NO injury time.

2 If no official referee has been appointed, the “HOME” team referees the first half.

3 Players playing “above” their age –

a) the player cannot play up MORE THAN TWO YEARS above his actual age.

b) Exception – Youth League – a 15th grade player may play up in a 17th grade combined Youth league.

4 Borrowing” players – Rule 3 applies. The player must not be registered in a higher grade or division.

5 The game must start as soon as seven (7) players are present and ready to play. If a team is not ready to start within 10 minutes of the scheduled kick off time the team present and ready to start may claim the match by default.

6 Where there is a clash of colours, the “away” team must change

7 Replacements – maximum of 3 substitutes only. Rolling or flying subs may be made

from the half way line only

8 Shin guards are COMPULSORY. NO player is permitted to play without shin guards.

9 No coaching or spectators behind the goal line.

10A Corners

11th/12th grades – 4 metres out from penalty box towards the corner

10B 14th-17th grades – full corners

11 The approved goals, marked ground with corner flags etc must be in place – to be supplied by the HOME team

12 Teams must produce their TEAM MASTERCARDS if requested

13 If a game is played under protest, this must be noted on the club result sheet. It is the protesting club’s duty to provide all details in writing and fax it with the result sheet ON THE DAY OF THE GAME.

14 Ball sizes –

10th, 11th, 12th, 13th grades Size 4

14th – 17th grades inc Size 5

15 Pitch size – 10th & 11th grades to play on THREE-QUARTER size pitch wherever possible. 12th-17th grades play on FULL SIZE pitch.
