Confirmed – 2018 Premier Women’s And Reserves Coaches

Three Kings Utd is delighted to announce that Alan Hindson has agreed to return as Head Coach for the Women’s Premier team, in 2018.

With a number of successful seasons at the helm, Three Kings feels very fortunate to have secured Hindson’s services.

“Alan brings a wealth of experience, proven success and has worked with these players for a number of years” Director of Football, Paul Bateson said.

With two league titles in the past two seasons, Hindson has brought title success to the club.

“The strategic focus going forward is two-fold. 1) developing the next generation of Three Kings Utd Premier women players from our youth system and 2) remaining highly competitive and pushing for silverware”, says Bateson.

“We think this is definitely achievable, given the quality and number of players we have coming through our youth teams each year, and we want to reward the ones that persevere, work hard and stick at it with opportunities to step up to the 1st team.”

In addition, Women’s Premier Reserves coach Dene McKay is returning for another campaign in 2018.

Along with being tasked to be the catalyst to prepare TKU players to make the jump to the 1st team, McKay is also named coach for the U17 Youth Football Tournament to be held in March.

Three Kings see this strategic focus for the premier women’s team as a major part of their long term vision to develop homegrown players for higher honours (NZ rep, US scholarship, W league and National league) and our premier team.
