Many club members and people associated with the club have been asking about the decision by the NRFL to deduct 13 points from our Northern Region Premier League Team.
The issue concerns a player who has been a TKU player since he was 10 years old.
TKU disagrees with the decision.
TKU has not yet had an opportunity to make submissions on the issue.
The TKU Executive is considering its position.
A new clubhouse for Three Kings United is to become reality in September 2016.
After years of consultation and funding talks, Auckland Council has now come to the table with significant funding towards building a new clubhouse.
This, together with almost $200,000 building levy contributions from our members, has set us on the path towards making a long-held dream a reality.
The clubhouse is set to be built between our Number 1 pitch and training pitches (where the bushes and trees are now).
We want it to be a community hub – not just for our members but others in the community who wish to use it.
With plans drawn up, and the process of seeking resource and building consent just about to start, we are now approaching community trusts and corporate sponsors to help us reach the $3.5 million dollars needed to finish our project- and initial talks are sounding hopeful.
To launch our fundraising campaign, we are holding a raffle for our members from the end of July and during August, where we hope to raise over $50,000 towards your new clubhouse.
Towards the end of July, each playing member should have received a book of five tickets, to sell on to family and friends. There are even prizes of two iPad minis for those who sell the most tickets!
The prizes are:
1st Harman Kardon 5.1 Channel 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System - Value $3,700
2nd Outdoor furniture Danske Mobler - Value $2899
3rd Trip for 2 to Rarotonga incl. flights and accommodation for 5 nights - supplied by House of Travel Newmarket. (must be taken outside school holidays) - Value $2,600
4th Harvey Norman voucher - Value $1000
5th Xbox 1 Bundle - Value $679
6th Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle - Value $679
7th Bunnings voucher - Value $500
8th Harvey Norman voucher - Value $250
Thanks to Danske Mobler and House of Travel Newmarket for donating the garden furniture and the trip to Rarotonga.
Pop into the clubhouse from July 25th to see the new clubhouse drawings, the garden furniture set and other prizes on display. For security reasons we will not be able to display the home theatre system or the X-boxes.
