We hope you enjoy your footballing experience with, or against, Three Kings United.
Congratulations Three Kings United Teal and Three Kings United Emeralds who won the 17th Annual 9th Grade National Tournaments at Keith Hay Park held on Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th September 2016 in the Boys and Girls mixed grades respectively.
Both Championship finals were strongly contested by Fencibles, and despite the weather on the second day of the event being the wettest in recent memory some terrific football was played by all teams, much was fun was had and in many cases old friendships cemented or new ones made.
We thank everyone from our Sponsors, to the coaches and players involved, to the parents and to the small army of volunteers who go to make this tournament the success and enjoyable event that it is - without you there is not tournament.
A full list of results and prize-winners will be available shortly.
Congratulations to our Premier Women’s team on completing a clean sweep in 2016 to become the sixth team to win every Premier Women’s League match they have played in a single season. 109 goals were scored in the season, making them the fifth team in the entire history of the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier competition to pass 100 goals in a season.
Well done to Alan Hindson and his exceptional team of talented ladies, we are proud of your achievement.
Thanks to our ball girls (front row) who added to the match day enjoyment in the game against Hamilton Wanderers August 14 that saw our premier women pass the 100 goals in a season milestone with a 16-1 win over the opposition.

Funding & Consents – our current situation
With a project cost of over $4 million, we need to rally together as a club to ensure we can realise this dream!
Some members have requested a bit more transparency around the funding confirmed to date, so to recap we have secured:
$840,000 Auckland Council Facility Partnership Fund
$550,000 Auckland Council Parks & Recreation Growth Fund
$750,000 Foundation North
$130,000 TKU building levy
$38,000 TKU raffle (2015)
$2,308,000 TOTAL funding to date
We are over halfway there but still have a significant amount to raise. Before building can actually commence we must secure the balance of the project cost in order to proceed with final consents.
The exciting news is that in April we were finally granted resource consent for this project – a huge milestone that will also help immensely with subsequent funding applications we are planning.
Our proposed funding sources for the balance are:
- Grants from various funding organisations
- Partnership agreements with local businesses
- Support from members and friends of the club
- Fundraising events
Over the next few months we are going to be really driving our fundraising campaign and would love your support!
Well done to Rebecca Rolls, Jasmine Pereira, and Paige Satchel (travelling reserve) on their selection to the New Zealand Olympic Ferns.
The 8th grade development squad have enjoyed success in 2 recent tournaments.
